GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- Police have released surveillance video from a robbery at a Goodyear credit union in March.

Police said a man entered the Canyon State Credit Union on Dysart Road north of Interstate 10 at about 2 p.m. on March 6 and handed a teller a note demanding money.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and he left in a small red car, possibly a Nissan Cube or Toyota Scion.

Police said the suspect was seen running toward the nearby Lowe's Home Improvement store where he discarded the sweatshirt he was wearing near the garden center.

The suspect is described as a black man about 6 feet 2 inches tall with a lighter complexion, short dark hair and a medium build. He was wearing a white Houston Astros baseball cap with an "H" on the front, a red Nike hooded sweatshirt, red Nike shoes and dark pants.

Police are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect.

Anyone with information about the suspect's identity or saw him taking off his sweatshirt is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or toll free at 1-800-343-TIPS. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online at www.silentwitness.org. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspect.
