PHOENIX -- Police have arrested the man suspected of shooting two individuals at a Phoenix apartment complex early Saturday morning.

David Gallegos, 20, has been booked into the Maricopa County Jail on charges of second-degree murder and aggravated assault.

Jeremiah Cole, 23, and a 20-year-old man were in the courtyard of an apartment complex near 1600 W. Glendale Avenue when they reportedly got into an argument with Gallegos.

Gallegos allegedly shot both Cole and the 20-year-old during the argument.

Cole died at the scene, while the other man was treated for injuries that were not life threatening.
