Map: Plane lands in Chandler field
CHANDLER, Ariz. -- A small plane made an emergency landing in a dirt field in Chandler late Monday morning.
The plane took off from the Chandler Municipal Airport and was forced to land in a field on the southwest corner of McQueen and Queen Creek roads at about 11:45 a.m., according to Chandler police spokesman Seth Tyler.
The four people on board the Cessna were able to self-extricate and no one was injured.
There was very little damage to the aircraft, according to Tyler.
The reason for the landing is unknown at this time.
