PHOENIX -- Rain, blowing dust, and thunder and lightning rolled through the Valley over the weekend.
Saturday night saw heaving rains make their way across the city, with one home in Mesa being damaged after it was struck by lightning.
Fountain Hills also dealt with turbulent weather over the weekend. Streets were flooded by rain, trees were knocked over, and a motorist lost control of their vehicle and almost drove into a house on Sunday.
The wet weather could continue Sunday night as heavy rains and storms remain in the area.
Thunderstorms could also return to the Valley on Monday, with the high only expected to reach 97.
It will begin to dry out a bit on Tuesday, and by the end of the work week temperatures will be back up around 105.
