Jack Lalanne was a fitness expert and TV personality. Throughout his long and colorful life, he was known as a bodybuilder, nutrition expert and fitness guru. LaLanne died at the age of 96 from pneumonia.

Nielsen Jr. Nielsen, who led the company that grew into an international market research firm known for producing the TV ratings known as "the Nielsens," died Monday, Oct. 5, 2011, in the Chicago suburb of Winnetka, Ill. His family says he'd suffered from Parkinson's disease. He was also 92.
