CHANDLER, Ariz. -- With a high of 112 degrees on Monday and no rain for weeks, it's no surprise that the crew in the 3TV news helicopter was able to capture this video of some dust devils.
The outbreak of impressive looking dirt twisters happened Monday afternoon in the far south part of the Valley.
The blowing dust led to multiple reports from people of a dust storm in the area. The images did show one dust devil crossing a road. Motorists caught in the path appeared to be slowing down and using extra caution.
At one point a dust devil crossed an opened field and a golf course lake before dissipating just next to a residential area.
