YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. -- Dozens of people were arrested by the Yavapai County Prescription Drug Task Force during an investigation titled Operation Rx Clean-Up.

With the help of officers from Partner Against Narcotics Trafficking, investigators were able to arrest a total of 42 people for the illegal sale and possession of prescription drugs.

Operation Rx Clean-Up began earlier this year, with PANT members spending several hours tracking pills and forged prescriptions to the suspects.

Twenty-two of the people were arrested on July 18. The other 20 suspects were believed to be dangers to the community or likely to flee, and were arrested prior to July 18.
