PHOENIX -- Things will be warming up a bit around the Valley this week.

Temperatures around metro Phoenix will be increasing slightly over the next several days until Thursday, when a weak weather system will move mainly to the north of our state. That storm may produce a few rain and snow showers in the higher elevations of Arizona, but outside of a sprinkle or two, not much is expected around the Valley.

For most of the week, highs will be running in the upper 60s. By the weekend, we should be back in the low 70s.
