PHOENIX (AP) -- Authorities say a 15-year-old boy has died after being pulled from a swimming pool in north Phoenix.
Phoenix police said Sunday that Trevon Brown died shortly after being taken to a hospital.
Authorities say Brown was swimming with other friends Saturday night around 9:30 p.m. They say his friends became momentarily distracted and discovered Brown was not breathing.
The teen's parents say they don't know how long he was underwater.
According to firefighters, the boy started shaking and convulsing.
Crews used advanced life support when transporting him to a hospital.
Police say they do not suspect foul play but the investigation is ongoing.
