SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. -- The Pinal County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help locating a man suspected of fatally shooting a San Tan Valley woman on Sunday.

Sheriff's officials said there is probable cause to believe Corey Deandre Allen, 28, of Phoenix, is responsible for the murder of Linda Pirelli-Brown, 50.

Allen is an acquaintance of Pirelli-Brown's 25-year-old daughter. She called 911 Sunday afternoon and reported that Allen had called her cellphone and told her he was at her family's home and was threatening her mother with a gun.

Deputies arrived at the home within minutes and found Pirelli-Brown lying on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds. She died at a local hospital later that evening.

Allen is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 105 pounds, with black braided hair and black eyes. He may be driving a red 1999 Oldsmobile four-door car with Arizona license AWK5059. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked not to approach him and call 911.

"Linda Pirelli-Brown was brutally gunned down in her own home during this senseless tragedy," Sheriff Paul Babeu said. "We are asking for the public's help to bring her killer to justice. Linda was a loving mother and wife. We need your help in locating Corey Deandre Allen to bring closure to this tragedy."
