PHOENIX – A Phoenix man accused of distributing images of child pornography via the Internet has been sentenced to 12 months in jail.
A judge also sentenced Jeffrey Eberlein, 25, to lifetime probation with sex offender terms.
Eberlein was arrested in 2011 after police discovered he was using a file-sharing program to distribute images of very young children being sexually abused.
Police said large quantities of images were located in Eberlein's possession at the time of his arrest.
He pleaded guilty to three counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.
