PHOENIX -- Phoenix police said they arrested three people Friday for pretending to operate a medical marijuana facility.
Police said officers served a search warrant on a building near 32nd Street and Van Buren after developing probable cause that marijuana was being sold from the facility.
According to police, it was determined that those involved did not have a valid business license, and that the business was not a legitimate medical marijuana facility.
Officers went on to seize weapons, marijuana, and brownies, muffins and candies that contained marijuana.
Police took 52-year-old Kenneth Winans, 40-year-old Hernan Vega, and 34-year-old Jeremy Skidmore into custody.
All three men are facing numerous charges, including illegal control of an enterprise and possession of marijuana for sale.
