PEORIA, Ariz. – Peoria police detectives are asking for the public's help identifying a woman who may have information related to a series of thefts from gym lockers.

Over the past two months, there have been reports of purses and wallets being taken from lockers at a Gold's Gym near 83rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road, according to police spokeswoman Amanda Jacinto. Six lockers have been broken into during four different incidents.

During the same time, Jacinto said a woman has been seen at stores in the area where credit cards from the stolen purses and wallets were used. She was caught on surveillance video and police released surveillance photos on Monday.

The woman is described as Caucasian, in her early 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with brown hair.

Anyone with information about this person of interest is asked to contact Peoria police at 623-773-7045 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered in the case.
