PEORIA, Ariz. -- The Peoria Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a couple who robbed a convenience store.

The two suspects entered a convenience store near Peoria and 75th avenues just after 5 a.m. on July 7.

According to Peoria police spokeswoman Amanda Jacinto, the male suspect told the clerk that he and his girlfriend were going to take anything they wanted and if the clerk did anything to stop them, the suspect was "going to blast him."

The suspect led the clerk to believe that he had a gun but never revealed it.

Both suspects grabbed merchandise and left the store without paying.

The male suspect is described as Hispanic, 20 to 35 years old and 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall. He has a mustache, goatee, and tattoos on his head and face.

The other suspect is described as a white female, 18 to 30 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall with red hair.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call police at 623-773-7045 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered in the case.
