PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- A Prescott woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend with a pair of scissors.
Prescott police officers responded to an assault call in the 1100 block of Stetson Drive at approximately 3 a.m. Friday and discovered that a 35-year-old man had been stabbed twice by his 23-year-old girlfriend, according to police spokesman Lt. Ken Morley.
Police said the couple were involved in a domestic dispute and, according to the initial information, they had assaulted each other.
The man was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center and later flown to Flagstaff Medical Center for further treatment of his injuries. He is listed in stable condition.
The woman was also taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center to be examined and was released a short time later.
Prescott police investigators are interviewing the woman and another male roommate who witnessed part of the domestic dispute.
The couple's names were not released.
This case is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
