YUMA, Ariz. -- Yuma police are searching for a man believed to be responsible for three armed robberies at Circle K stores in one night.

The robberies took place between 11:05 p.m. Wednesday and 1:25 a.m. Thursday at stores located at 1798 S. Fourth Ave., 379 W. First St. and 2409 S. Eighth Ave.

In each case, the suspect displayed a black handgun to a clerk while asking for the money from the register. Police said the suspect walked behind the counter at each location, making the clerk open the cash register.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing and a white symbol on the front, dark-colored jeans and dark-colored Vans with white soles. During the first two incidents, the suspect was also seen wearing a black baseball hat with what looks like orange flames on the bill.
