PHOENIX (AP) -- A new sentencing date has been set for a former NBA All-Star who had pleaded guilty this summer to theft and forgery charges.
Chris Gatling is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 13 in Maricopa County Superior Court.
Authorities say Gatling squatted at a Paradise Valley home and then tried to list the house for rent on Craigslist
Gatling was accused of breaking in the key box at the home and living there for about a year.
Police say the homeowners lived in California but had left the power on at the Arizona home.
Gatling averaged 10.3 points in 11 seasons with Golden State, Miami, Dallas, New Jersey, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Denver and Cleveland.
He pleaded guilty to one count of theft and one count of forgery in early August.
