PHOENIX - The U.S. Marshals Service has released two new photos of Jared Loughner, the suspect in the Tucson mass shootings.
Last week, a U.S. District Court judge said he would not make a ruling on the defense's request to not release two new mug shots of Loughner taken by the U.S. Marshals Service at the time of his arrest in January.
Loughner has been indicted for attempting to kill Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and her two aides, Ron Barber and Pamela Simon.
More charges are likely in this ongoing investigation.
Six people died and 13 others were injured on Jan. 8 in Tucson.
