PHOENIX  -- Look for seasonal temperatures and lots of sunshine over the next several days. By late week, a cold front passes through Arizona and we get some winds and slightly cooler temperatures, but no rain.

The next few days look for highs in the mid-90s and overnight lows in the 60s. By Friday, some Valley locations may see highs in the 80s.

It’s not quite official, but September will end being only slight warmer than average.  The average high of 99.7 (through Sept. 29) is just a fraction above normal.  And the average low of 78.2 is just about 1 degree above the norm.

We did get .86” of an inch of rain in September. That’s about 2/10 more than average. But on our annual rainfall numbers, our current total is 5.60 inches of rain, about 1/” below the average pace.
