MESA, Ariz. -- Forget Back Friday! We found a place where the best deals can be found on Tuesdays and Thurdays.

The City of of Mesa Surplus Store offers thousands of items and plenty of bargains every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

As Tess Rafols found out on Thursday's Good Morning Arizona, you can find all kinds of treasures there. From furniture to computers, and from tools to toys, this place has it all.

"We have toys, we've got computers, we've got fishing gear," says coordinator Sherri Power. "We've got laptops. I've got a tattoo kit if anyone wants to do it themselves."

A big sale is going on right now, with computers and toys offered at 50 percent off.

Bikes are also deeply discounted. "75 percent off," Power tells us. "So a $40 bike would cost you $10."

Some items are used; many are new. "They're either from police evidence or unclaimed city surplus," says Power. "We also have things we've gotten from storage units that have been abandoned."

The sales are help every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon at the City of Mesa Warehouse, 7041 E. Adobe, which is near University and Power Roads.  More information is available on the City of Mesa's website. You cal also call 480-644-2663.
