Mesa police seek public's help to ID baby formula thieves

MESA, Ariz. – Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man and a woman suspected of stealing baby formula from a Wal-Mart and a Target store in Mesa.

The thefts occurred on May 5 and May 9 at a Wal-Mart near Baseline and Signal Butte roads and a Target near Power Road and Southern Avenue.

Mesa police said the suspects stole a tote bag and backpack at each location and filled them with baby formula before leaving the stores.

The suspects were seen driving away in a maroon Acura with a temporary tag and a large white Acura symbol on the rear window.

The suspects are described as a white male with short red hair and a white female with medium/long dark hair.
