PHOENIX -- Police are asking for the public's help to identify and locate a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Phoenix Subway restaurant last month.

Police said a man wearing a black beanie with a pink skull, black jacket and black sunglasses entered the restaurant near Northern and 35th avenues at approximately 1:25 p.m. on Jan. 15.

The man walked directly to the counter and pulled the beanie down over his face as the employee turned to assist him. He then removed a black handgun from his waistband and demanded money.

After receiving the money, the suspect fled on foot. No vehicle was seen.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a husky build, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 170 pounds.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or silentwitness.org.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered in the case.
