PHOENIX (AP) -- Police say a man is dead after he was stabbed multiple times outside a north Phoenix apartment complex.
Police spokesman Trent Crump says officers responded to calls of a fight in the complex parking lot on Cave Creek Road around midnight Sunday.
Crump says police found the victim lying on the ground and several witnesses were trying to administer aid.
The victim, who is in his 30s, was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
Witnesses told police that as many as five people had been fighting.
Crump says police have no information about a possible suspect but a second injured person may have fled the scene via motorcycle.

PHOENIX -- A man was stabbed to death in the parking lot of an apartment complex early Sunday morning, according to Phoenix police.
It happened in North Phoenix at a complex on Cave Creek Road between Union Hills and Bell roads.
Officers were called to the area because of some type of disturbance or fight.
They found a man on the ground who had been stabbed several times.
He was taken to a hospital where he pronounced dead.
Police have not made any arrests in this case.
