Man sought in armed robbery of Phoenix gas station

PHOENIX -- Police are searching for a man in the armed robbery of a Phoenix gas station.

About 9 p.m. June 10, a man went behind the counter at the SuperPumper store near Tatum and Shea boulevards and a pulled a handgun on the female clerk.

He reportedly told the clerk, "I don't want to hurt you. Just give me all the money."

He fled northbound on foot with the cash.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 30s, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 130 pounds. He has brown eyes, brown hair, a mustache, and tattoos on his hands and neck. He was wearing a gray long-sleeved plaid shirt.

Witnesses could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
