PHOENIX -- Phoenix police said a 53-year-old man was shot while riding his bicycle near Camelback Road and 19th Avenue Monday night.
He was confronted by two men and an argument ensued. One of the men pulled out a gun and shot the bicyclist in the throat. They then ran from the scene.
The victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
Police said the shooting suspect is a man in his 20s.
