CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) -- Authorities have identified a man who was fatally shot by a father-and-son bail bondsmen team in Chandler.
 
Maricopa County Sheriff's officials say the Friday afternoon shooting occurred after 59-year-old Donald Richard Johnson allegedly pulled a gun and shot at the two bondsmen.
 
They say 72-year-old Oren Wallace and 36-year-old Nathan Wallace went to Johnson's home after he didn't show up in court on aggravated harassment charges.
 
When they approached a mobile home, authorities say Johnson came out and pointed a gun at them.
 
There was an exchange of gunfire but it's still unclear who fired first.
 
Sheriff's officials say Johnson was wearing body armor and his home was wired for surveillance.
 
Investigators later found numerous weapons inside.
 
Sheriff's spokesman Christopher Hegstrom says no charges have been filed at this time.

Maricopa County Sheriff's officials say the shooting occurred Friday afternoon after the man allegedly pulled a gun and shot at the two bondsmen.

They say the bondsmen went to the man's Chandler home on Friday afternoon after he didn't show up in court on aggravated harassment charges.

When they approached a mobile home, authorities say the man came out and pointed a gun at them.

There was an exchange of gunfire but it's still unclear who fired first.

The name and age of the man killed hasn't been released yet.

Sheriff's officials say the man was wearing body armor and his home was wired for surveillance.

Investigators later searched the man's home and found numerous weapons.

CHANDLER, Ariz. -- A father and son bail bondsmen team shot and killed a man who pulled a gun and shot at them, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.

It happened on Friday afternoon at the SanTan Mobile Village community on Gilbert Road near Chandler Blvd.

The bail bondsmen were searching for an individual. When they approached a mobile home, a man came out who pointed a gun at them. There was an exchange of gunfire but it's not clear who fired first.

The man who was killed was wearing body armor and his house was wired for surveillance.

The father and son bail bondsmen are the owners of Dano's Bail Bonds, according to Maricopa County Sheriff's Joe Arpaio.

The Chandler Police Dept. is assisting the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office with the investigation.
