PHOENIX -- Phoenix Police arrested a man accused of robbing a Little Caesars pizza business earlier this week.

On Wednesday night, Juan Naranjo, 46, reportedly walked into the business at 7435 West Lower Buckeye Road and pointed a gun at an employee behind the counter.

Naranjo was given cash from the register and then demanded several pizzas from the employee. He eventually fled the scene after he received his pizzas.

A witness watched Naranjo drive away in a Chevrolet Cavalier and was able to get the vehicle’s license plate number.

Police were notified, and on Thursday Phoenix Police Robbery Unit detectives were able to locate and arrest Naranjo for the robbery.

Detectives went on to search a residence in the area of 8000 West Pima Road where they found evidence related to the crime.

Naranjo has since been booked into jail on armed robbery charges.

Witnesses told police that a second person was inside Naranjo’s car when he robbed the pizza business.

Anyone with any information is being asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
