CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Chandler Police said they arrested a man on Wednesday for allegedly terrorizing his ex-girlfriend.
According to police, 49-year-old Alan Valentine Wilde has been harassing his ex with notes, voicemails, text messages and personal encounters since last February.
Many of Wilde’s actions were reportedly done in violation of a court-issued order of protection.
Police said they had become more concerned with Wilde over the past few weeks. He reportedly ran from officers on two occasions, and left his ex 61 voicemail messages over the course of seven days.
On Wednesday, Wilde was seen at his ex-girlfriend’s place of employment in Tempe. He fled the scene before officers arrived, but Chandler detectives located him later that morning in Mesa.
Wilde was taken into custody and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on ten counts of aggravated domestic violence and one count of stalking.
