(KTVK) -- At 7:31 PM Pacific Standard Time on Tuesday, February 14, the USGS National Earthquake Information Center reported an earthquake with preliminary magnitude 6.0 off the coast of Oregon.
The quake's epicenter was approximately 159 miles west of Coos Bay, Oregon at a depth of 3.9 miles.
According to the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center, the magnitude is such that a tsunami is not expected.
