SUN CITY, Ariz. -- The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office has determined that no foul play was involved in the deaths of a Sun City couple whose bodies were found late Thursday morning.

The sheriff's office identified the couple as Mary Ann Higley, 77, and Harold W. Dailey, 83.

Their bodies were discovered in the backyard of their home near 99th Avenue and Beardsley Road. Neighbors had complained of a smell coming from the area and called 911.

Detectives said the bodies may have been there since the weekend. It is unknown why the bodies were on the back patio.

The Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.

Neighbors said the couple had moved into the home about six months ago.
