PHOENIX -- A man wanted in Florida has been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in Youngtown Friday afternoon and linked to two other shootings in the Valley, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
Daniel Alexander Rodriguez, 23, allegedly shot at his 16-year-old girlfriend's home near El Mirage Road and Olive Avenue while she and her parents were inside.
The sheriff's office said no one was injured in the shooting.
On Jan. 31, sheriff's deputies responded to a shooting near that same home.
An area resident reported seeing Rodriguez and the 16-year-old girl arguing. Rodriguez then allegedly fired several 9 mm rounds toward a random home to scare the teen.
The teen then reportedly got into a car with Rodriguez and they drove away.
Rodriguez is also accused of recently shooting at a house in Phoenix, where the 16-year-old girl was staying.
The sheriff's office said Rodriguez has been using a fake ID because he is wanted in Florida on charges of burglary and resisting arrest.
He was apprehended at his home near 40th Street and McDowell Road.
He was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault, shooting at an occupied structure, weapon misconduct, and identity theft.
