PHOENIX -- The Loop 101 Price Freeway frontage roads remain closed this morning between University Drive and Rio Salado Parkway, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The Loop 101 Price Freeway reopened about 3 a.m. It had been closed Sunday evening after a cable fell in the roadway.
The northbound entrance ramp at University and the southbound entrance ramp at Rio Salado remain closed this morning.
There is no indication when either the frontage roads or entrance ramps will reopen, but they are expected to remain closed through the morning commute.
Delays are expected and drivers should plan ahead.
PHOENIX -- Loop 101 Price Freeway is closed at University Drive because of a fallen cable line, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area because long delays are expected. Traffic is backed on L-101 Price Freeway between Loop 202 Red Mountain and Southern Avenue.
There is no estimated time to reopen the highway. Motorists may use L-202 Red Mountain and US 60 as alternate routes.
