SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Are you looking to do something a little different -- maybe a bit shocking -- for your holiday pictures this year? Scottsdale Gun Club -- yes, a gun club -- might have just the thing. For the second year in a row, you can have your picture taken with Santa Claus -- and his machine guns.

We all know Santa's bag holds pretty much anything you might want for Christmas, and that apparently includes high-powered weaponry.

Scottsdale Gun Club first offered the twist on traditional holiday photos last year, allowing families, including young children, to pose with Santa while wielding their choice of weapon from the club's arsenal.

The pistols and machine guns are real and they're worth big bucks -- from several hundred to tens of thousands of dollars. People can pose with any gun they like, including pistols, AK 47 assault rifles, modified AR15s and grenade launchers, among others.

Set up behind St. Nick is an $80,000 Garwood Minigun, which is a heavy machine gun with several barrels that can fire between 2,000 and 6,000 rounds per minute.

Reaction to the photos has been mixed. While some find the idea of posing with Santa and guns inappropriate, many gun aficionados love it.

The first round of photos was Nov. 26, but the gun club is reloading for the next wave.

Santa will be on hand at Scottsdale Gun Club Saturday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. According to the Scottsdale Gun Club's website, a photo op will cost members $5 and non-members $10. That includes a print and a digital copy of your gun-toting photo.
