TEMPE, Ariz. -- Police are searching for a man who stole an unusual item from Capri Jewelers at Arizona Mills Mall.

The robbery was Dec. 30 at approximately 4:50 p.m.

The man walked into the jewelry store, pulled a handgun and demanded a Fred Flintstone pendant and chain. 

He grabbed the jewelry from the employee’s hand and walked out of the store. He left the mall through Burlington Coat Factory. 

Police suspect the thief had an accomplice who was working as a lookout during the robbery.

The robber is described as a black male in his early 20s, 6 feet 2 inches tall, thin build, wearing a black T-shirt, dark jeans and a black hat with an unknown white design or logo on the front.

The accomplice is described as a black male, early 20s, tall, thin build, mustache, wearing a black T-shirt, dark pants and tan boots and shoes.

Police are offering a $1,000 reward in this case.
