PHOENIX (AP) -- The Arizona House of Representatives is set to debate a plan to commit $500,000 in state funds to create a memorial site honoring the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots who died in the Yarnell Hill Fire last year.

The House is set to debate House Bill 2624 Monday afternoon. Because 61 of the 90 lawmakers in House and Senate have signed on as sponsors, not much opposition is expected.

The bill also creates a committee to oversee the memorial and administer the fund and any additional donations for the purchase. The committee would include relatives of the lost firefighters, state representatives and officials from the state parks board.

All but one of the 20 Hotshots on the Prescott-based crew perished in the fire on June 30.
