MAYER, Ariz. -- A helicopter crashed Saturday near Mayer, Ariz.
The Mayer Fire Department said it was a Huey Helicopter from the Vietnam War.
3TV spoke to witnesses who said they saw the helicopter acting funny in the air and making weird sounds before it crashed.
Those witnesses then called 911.
Several Mayer Fire Department engines and trucks responded to the crash, which caused a brush fire that was about 50 feet in diameter.
The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said it appears as if two people were on board. There were no survivors.
The helicopter was privately registered but its owner has not yet been confirmed.
