GLENDALE, Ariz. -- It's Glendale versus Tampa in a fight for the largest sporting event of 2015. Tuesday afternoon, NFL team owners are set to decide the location for the 2015 Super Bowl.
Arizona's impressive job hosting the Super Bowl in 2008 in Glendale has reportedly helped its bid for the game in 2015.
Tuesday's decision pits the Valley of the Sun against the Sunshine State. With warm winters and enough hotel rooms to go around, Phoenix seems to be evenly matched with Tampa, Fla.
Having hosted before, both Tampa and Glendale know what it takes.
Glendale spent $3.4 million to get the game in 2008, and only made $1.2 million back.
Still, businesses across the street from University of Phoenix Stadium are dreaming of dollar signs and customers believe what ever the game brings would be worth it.
NFL owners are set to meet at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday (Arizona time), and a decision is expected Tuesday afternoon.
