PHOENIX – Gas prices have been significantly falling during the past two months.

Nationally, the average price for gasoline is about $3.20 a gallon.

AAA Arizona said Thursday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $3.14 a gallon. In some areas, though, drivers can find it for less than $3.

A station at Bethany Home Road and Seventh Avenue in central Phoenix had it for $2.99 Monday morning. Other stations in the Valley were selling it for even less. In Casa Grande on Thursday, three stations had it for $2.95 a gallon.

AAA analysts said Arizona's average gasoline price is at a nine-month low.

Missouri has the lowest average gas prices in the continental United States at $2.84 a gallon with California having the highest at $3.60.
