GOODYEAR - Goodyear police have arrested a man for orchestrating a home invasion of his ex-girlfriend's apartment and stealing her pick-up truck.

The victim was bound during the robbery, but was able to escape and notify police.

About 20 minutes after the robbery a Goodyear officer spotted the truck being driven by Vasquez and a pursuit ensued. Vasquez ended up fleeing on foot into the desert where police dogs and helicopters tracked him down.

Three accomplices in the home invasion were also arrested. Patricia Patterson was arrested at a convenience store in Goodyear. She led police to a home in west Phoenix where after a short standoff Louis Harper and Joey Ballon were taken into custody.

Property from the robbery and the stolen pick-up were recovered.

All four suspects are being charged with aggravated robbery, kidnapping and motor vehicle theft.

The victim sustained only minor injuries.
