PHOENIX -- Even though a part of their school flooded Tuesday, it was classes as usual for students at Sandra Day O'Connor High School.
The damage was limited to just one building, but 12 classrooms had to be relocated, according to spokeswoman Heidi Vega of the Deer Valley Unified School District.
"Normal class schedules will continue while this takes place," she said in a statement. "The safety of students always remains a top priority for the Deer Valley Unified School District."
Students tweeted photos of the damage.
