PHOENIX -- A Phoenix elementary school janitor was arrested this week for allegedly sexually abusing a minor.
Lucas Hernandez, 30, was arrested on Monday after he was reportedly seen in videos on a USB drive having sexual contact with a boy.
Police came across Hernandez’s USB storage devices after he left them behind while moving out of a Glendale home.
A woman who had been living with Hernandez gave the storage devices to another woman to use. That woman then came across multiple videos reportedly featuring Hernandez and a young male.
The storage drives were turned over to police, who apprehended Hernandez while he was working at Bernard Black Elementary School.
While speaking with authorities, Hernandez reportedly admitted that he was the man in the video and identified the victim.
Hernandez also went on to reveal that he had performed sex acts on the boy during a three to four month time period. He added that he recorded their sexual encounters five to seven times.
Police spoke with the victim, who said the abuse began when he was around 13 or 14 years old.
Hernandez is now facing sexual conduct with a minor charges.
