KILL DEVIL HILLS, NC -- Winds remained strong at Kill Devil Hills early Saturday afternoon, however, emergency officials want residents to be aware that it may continue to get nicer before the eye of the storm rolls through.
Dare County officials said they haven't seen any major problems yet on the mainland, however they do expect flooding. They're expecting to get about 9-10 inches of rain.
