PHOENIX -- With literally no chance for rain the rest of this week, it looks like we're going to finish up November 2012 with just .05 inches of rain, about 1/10 of what we get in an average November. Last November we got almost an inch of rain at Sky Harbor International Airport.

And it will be no surprise that November 2012 will end with above normal temperatures. So far, the average high has been 82 and the average low 56 -- a bit more than 4 degrees above normal. The only thing left to see is if it will make it into one of the Top 10 warmest Novembers in Phoenix history. The Weather Service will tell us that Saturday.

In the meantime, this dry weather pattern continues. We're looking for desert highs around 80 to start out the week with a bit of cooling into the mid- to upper 70s for the rest of the week. There is going to be decent chances for precipitation in the West, but unfortunately, not in Arizona. Most of the rain and snow that falls will be along coastal areas of California, Oregon and Washington.
