QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. -- Mud, food, fun and exercise are some of the exciting thing you'll find at the Banzai Physical Challenge coming up in November at Schnepf Farms.
The Banzai Physical Challenge is a fresh new concept in the mud run category that allows children and families to participate with one another.
After taking part in several mud runs throughout the Valley, we realized how much we would have loved these runs when we were kids. Even better, how much fun would it be to run one of the obstacle courses with our own children?
That in mind, we teamed up with local engineers to design technical obstacles that will be scaled down enough for children as young as 4 to complete, yet difficult enough for adults to have fun, as well.
This event was designed specifically for kids and families to get out of the house and have fun together. Adults cannot participate without a child.
Participants will be running a muddy course spanning two miles and 20 obstacles. Runners will scale the “Ninja Wall,” swing on the “Gorilla Whip,” and try to conquer our “Warrior’s Mountain” quarter pipe before they slide down to the finish line.
The event will also feature inflatable bounce houses and obstacle courses, family tug-o-war, a DJ spinning the latest hits, a beer garden for the adults, and the hippest food trucks in the Valley.
Banzai is also helping local fundraising groups and the United Food Bank. For everyone who registers under the code UNITED GIVES BACK, we will donate $5 to the United Food Bank. We are also giving everyone who donates five canned goods to United Food Bank free parking to the event.
