PHOENIX -- As the temperatures rise, what better way to cool off than with a Disney "Frozen" party?

The movie and song are wildly popular with the younger set right now, so kids are sure to enjoy a Frozen birthday party, complete with "snow" (which is actually foam), a Frozen-themed inflatable, and of course, characters like Elsa.

On Friday's Good Morning Arizona, some of our 3TV personalities brought their little ones to frolic in the foam and have some Frozen fun.

Kids especially loved running through the foam. And the movie characters were also a big hit, including the four-legged ones. "We do a lot of Frozen parties," says Laurie Prendergast of A Child's Joy. "It's a big hit. When Stormy's in costume, all the kids call him Sven, and we go out and do reindeer pony rides, right in the middle of summertime."

We also got some ideas about how to create a do-it-yourself Frozen party. Since Frozen frenzy is well underway, it's making it tough for moms to find the Disney-themed party supplies in stores.

Forced to get creative, mom bloggers are sharing great DIY ideas, which are really helping to make these parties even more special.

Sara Wellensiek is the woman behind Mom Endeavors. By getting her sons to help cut white paper into snowflakes and glue together popsicle sticks as well, Wellensiek came up with a fantastic Frozen event. For centerpieces, Wellensiek she uses cottonballs and sprigs from her holiday decor with silver stencil. She says, "The sky is the limit!"
