FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – An Arizona Department of Public Safety officer was arrested at a Flagstaff bar over the weekend after a woman accused him of inappropriately touching her.

Flagstaff police officers were called to the Greenroom Bar at 15 N. Agassiz St. at approximately 11:40 p.m. Saturday.

A 30-year-old woman said she was standing in the bar when a man walked up behind her and began touching her inappropriately, according to police spokesman Sgt. James Jackson.

The victim turned around and confronted the suspect then reported the incident to employees of the bar.

Jackson said the man told police that he was an Arizona DPS officer. Police confirmed that information and identified the suspect as Robb G. Evans, 42, of Flagstaff.

Evans was arrested and booked into the Coconino County Jail for one count of sexual abuse. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.

The investigation is still ongoing.
