KINGMAN, Ariz. - Two people were killed following rollover crash on westbound Interstate 40 in-between Seligman and Kingman.
That stretch of roadway was closed for much fo the morning while the Department of Public safety investigated the fatal collision.
According to DPS the crash occurred at about 9:04 a.m. when the driver of an SUV lost control of their vehicle on the icy roadway. The SUV slid into a commercial tractor-trailer traveling in the other lane and then into the center median where the vehicle struck a rock wall. The SUV then rolled over numerous times.
The truck is an 18-wheeler tractor-trailer, with red or maroon cab and possible a box trailer. The truck should have light damage or paint marks as a result. DPS would like to speak to the driver.
