FLAGSTAFF - The Department of Public Safety issued a travel advisory for Northern Arizona ahead of the winter storm that is going to dump lots of snow on the area.
Areas in Northern Arizona about 7,000 feet could receive upwards of 18 to 20 inches of snow accumulation between Wednesday and Friday.
Temperatures are expected to be very low, meaning a hard freeze will make highways extremely slippery.
DPS warns that if you must travel to the Flagstaff area, be patient as traffic will be moving slower.
DPS also warns drivers they should not stop alongside the roadway to play in the snow.
