PHOENIX -- After a weekend of triple-digit high temperatures around metro Phoenix, we’re going to be cooling down drastically for the next few days.
The culprit is a Pacific cold front which is set to arrive in the Valley late Tuesday afternoon. While the front will drop temperatures 10-15 degrees statewide, we’ll also see some pretty windy conditions as the front approaches.
A Fire Watch is already posted for metro Phoenix on Tuesday due to expected windy conditions and dry weather. And many portions of the state are under wind advisories. By Wednesday, the high temperature in Phoenix will only be about 80 degrees, down more than 20 from the weekend highs.
