PHOENIX -- Every year, Clean Air Cab partners with Valley businesses and organizations such as Arizona State University's Scholarship Fund, Phoenix Children's Hospital and Mesa United Way.

To date, Clean Air Cab has been able to raise $86,000 for Valley scholarships programs and nonprofits.

Every year Clean Air Cab provides a scholarship to one student at Arizona State University School of Sustainability.

The newest partner of the Mesa-based cab company is ONE Community, an organization that strives to create a coalition of socially responsible businesses and individuals who support diversity, inclusion and equality.

The ONE Community Foundation was created to support LGBT inclusive mentorship programs for youth, young adults and professionals.

Clean Air Cab is enhancing its charity cab fleet with a new ONE Community Foundation themed Toyota Hybrid Prius. Clean Air Cab has established a program where they will donate $1 of every fare from this specially wrapped vehicle to the ONE Community organization.

"We are excited to partner with an organization like ONE Community," Clean Air Cab founder Steve Lopez said. "We believe in giving back to the community by creating unique partnerships and in this case, supporting the mission of ONE Community and helping shape the future of LGBT and allied leadership."

Clean Air Cab is Arizona's first carbon neutral taxicab service.
